I am an Educational Therapist in private practice with over 25 years
of experience working with students with learning differences. I
teach students how to learn to learn. I specialize in multisensory,
structured, and diagnostic instruction in reading; writing; spelling; vocabulary;
math and study strategies. Reading and writing fluency are also addressed. Academic demands and expectations increase
rapidly as students progress through school. It is therefore essential
for students to develop a strong foundation in reading; writing;
spelling; vocabulary; math and executive function skills. It is my mission and
life's work to empower children who experience academic challenges to
succeed in school, at home and in life. Through both screening and
direct instruction, I strive to help each child reach his/her
academic goals. This process requires that I work closely with the
student's parents, teachers, and learning specialists to help ensure
that students learn with success. |
Educational therapy combines academic and therapeutic approaches for
